10,000 Fabulous DIYers🎉🎉🎉. Thank you for joining and following my page. I have more to come! In the meantime here’s my latest video of how I made my #petticoat skirt. I will be installing it into my next gown. Sooo...this is my petticoat underskirt and I ❤️❤️it! I want to thank those who recommended me to add the bones to achieve the desired look I wanted. After looking at so many fascinating Atelier workrooms on #Pinterest. I was inspired to create my own for my gowns. Since I’ve never made one It’s not perfect. However it heads in the right direction of perfection. Stay tuned for my video where I share my process. #redesignyourclothes #sewingproject #petticoat #isew #sewing #couturesewing #seamstress #couture #patternmaking #fashiondesign
#10yearchallenge. Actually it’s shys 2 years before my 10year mark of designing and sewing my 1st official gown in 2011. When I design this gown, I didn’t know how to add boning or sew horse hair braid. I only cared about sewing a gown that looks good to the eye. However when you look closely my darts wasn’t neat and the ruffles were a little bit off. Nonetheless I shopped it to local boutiques, and no one was interested. Fast forward to now, I’ve grown a lot. Details matter and it took me a long time to learn that. So I say that to say this... if you wish you were better at sewing. I would highly recommend you to look back when you started and see where you are now. It will allow yourself to see how far you’ve come. “A master was a beginner once” - #Idontknowhosaidthat but that’s FACTS 😂. Anyway I’m off to ship my fabric orders. Shop my fabric stash when you get a chance. 😉#redesignyourclothes #8yearchallenge #Isew #seamstress #fashiondesign #sewingtutorial #sewsewsew #fashiondesigner #gowns #eveninggowns
